With holidays like Halloween and Thanksgiving now in the past, people of all ages worldwide have their sights set on Christmas. The holidays include many activities, such as watching festive films, setting up Christmas trees, and spreading Christmas joy through gift-giving. Listening to holiday music is another key activity, and it is responsible for setting the season’s mood.

With shows like Sabrina Carpenter’s “Short n’ Sweet Tour” and Billie Eilish’s “Hit Me Hard And Soft: The Tour” coming to the Bay Area within the next few months, many Carlmont students are gearing up to attend their favorite artists’ concerts. However, as past experiences have shown, attending concerts has pros and cons.

The Starbucks holiday menu was released nationwide on Nov. 7, with people across the country excited to try old favorites and brand-new additions to the menu. Earlier this month, Starbucks began selling its highly anticipated seasonal menu, which included drinks like the classic Peppermint Mocha and the new Cran-Merry Orange Refresher. The holidays often incite feelings of warmness and appreciation for community. Like other restaurant chains, Starbucks aims to capture this feeling and sell it to customers through drinks and food.
